(excuse the bad cell phone picture)
We had to stay overnight in the hospital with McKinley. When the nurses would come in, she'd put on a brave face and smile at them a little. However, when she was just with Tim and me, she wouldn't smile at all--she just looked so sad. It was hard seeing her in pain. But despite just having the surgery two days ago, today she is acting as if nothing bothers her and is the same happy baby as before. I am so grateful for all of the prayers, blessings, and well wishes we've received. Baby Mac and her McKidney are on the road to recovery. In other news, the rest of us are having a bit of a rough day:
-- Owen and Henry are vomiting with a stomach bug
-- The A/C is not working and it's supposed to reach 107F this afternoon
-- My mom and dad went home
It's one of those days that you just feel like you could cry like this guy!

Oh Emily, big hugs and kisses I'm sending your way. Today is a poopy, poopy day, and I'm only going to tell you this to make you feel better...but, we woke up to dirty water this morning, so I went to the store to get bottled, only to find the Proflame guy shutting off our propane because we were a "wee" late on our bill. I wanted to flush myself down the toilet this morning. Life downright sucks sometimes, and it's no fun you had to see your baby like that! I just want to kiss her cute face! I'm glad she is recovering though, and I hope your AC gets fixed very soon. Oh, and I'm super sorry about the barf thing. That just makes everything suck that much more! Hang in there!!!
There may be only one bright spot to this day and that is that hopefully the boys are just laying around and you do not have to chase after them in the 107 degree weather. Hang in there. So glad to hear that Baby Mac is doing well!
That just stinks!! Hopefully it's over now. LOVE LOVE LOVE the cry guy! That was a hoot!
